Welcome to Trevloc. At Trevloc (“we”, “our”, “the App”), we take your privacy seriously. Trevloc acts solely as an intermediary between users who offer services (“providers”) and those who request them (“clients”). Trevloc does not intervene in any contracts, agreements, payments, or outcomes related to services offered or received through the App.
Important: Trevloc is not responsible for accidents, damages, disputes, or issues that may arise between users. All service-related interactions are the sole responsibility of the involved parties.

All users, whether offering or requesting services, acknowledge that they are solely responsible for the legality, quality, and safety of the services they provide or receive. Service providers using Trevloc declare they are qualified and legally permitted to perform the tasks listed in their service offerings. Trevloc does not verify professional credentials, licenses, or compliance with local laws. Users are encouraged to consult their local regulations regarding permitted work (e.g., Gewerbeanmeldung, Steuerpflicht, or specific trade requirements in Germany). Trevloc accepts no liability for illegal activities, unlicensed services, or labor violations.

Trevloc is not operated by a registered legal entity. All data processing is managed under the sole responsibility of the individual administrator.

4.1 Mandatory data for all users:

- Country (automatically detected during registration)
- Date of birth (for age verification)
- City (either manually entered or based on location, without precise address)
4.2 Optional data:
- Profile photo (optional for regular users, required for service providers)
- Bio or “About Me” (optional for regular users, required for providers)
- External links (user’s responsibility)
4.3 User content:
- Chats between users (stored in Supabase)
- Reviews (only allowed if there's a verified service connection)
- Reports submitted by users (manually reviewed)
5. Age Verification
Trevloc is strictly limited to users aged 16 or older, in compliance with German labor laws prohibiting minors from offering or performing paid services. We ask for your full date of birth during registration. No official documents are required to avoid handling sensitive data.
6. Purpose of Data Processing
We use your personal data to:
- Operate the App securely and efficiently
- Enforce age restrictions
- Connect clients with local service providers
- Enable user-to-user communication
- Display relevant results based on your general location
- Manage user reports or malicious content
- Fulfill legal obligations or comply with valid legal requests

Users may include external links in their profiles. Trevloc is not responsible for the content or safety of those links. Malicious or inappropriate links can lead to:

- Deletion of the content

10. Communication and Data Storage
Chats between users are securely stored using Supabase, a GDPR-compliant service provider. Only the communicating users and moderators (in case of reports) have access to these messages.
11. Reports and Moderation
Users can report:
- Inappropriate behavior or content
- Malicious or dangerous links
- App bugs or technical issues
All reports are manually reviewed and prioritized based on their severity. Sanctions may include:
- Warning
- Temporary suspension
- Permanent account ban
- Notification to legal authorities if required
12. Disciplinary Actions
Trevloc may suspend or block accounts for:
- Violations of this Privacy Policy
- Sharing of malicious content or links
- Misuse of the App or repeated misconduct
- Failure to comply with legal investigations
13. Cooperation with Authorities
Trevloc will cooperate with legal authorities only upon receiving formal and documented legal requests. No personal data will be shared without proper justification.

We retain user data as long as the account remains active. When a user deletes their account, data will be retained for a maximum of 90 days, after which it will be permanently and securely deleted.

Trevloc uses the third-party platform Supabase for secure data storage. Supabase is fully GDPR-compliant.

Trevloc applies technical and organizational measures to ensure the security and integrity of your data, including access control and regular system updates.
